01
For Employers
Answers to common questions from organizations looking to hire with Halfpace HR.
Before beginning a search, we prefer to understand not only the role but also the business objective behind the hiring—what the person will be responsible for, reporting structure, location, team size, customer segment, product exposure, experience required, compensation range, notice-period flexibility and the reason for the vacancy. This helps us build a more accurate candidate profile and avoid sending profiles simply to meet a numbers target.
We look beyond role and years of experience. Depending on the role, we consider the candidate's BFSI domain, type of organization, product exposure, customer segment, geography handled, sales or revenue responsibility, portfolio size, team-management experience and career stability. The ideal profile is defined around what will actually make the person successful in the client's business.
We don't treat recruitment as a CV-forwarding exercise. Before a profile is presented, our team evaluates it against the specific business requirement. Depending on the role, we look at BFSI domain experience, organizations worked with, role handled, product exposure, performance track record, geography, current and expected compensation, notice period and other relevant factors. We also discuss the opportunity with the candidate so that there is alignment on the role, organization, location, compensation, career move and joining expectations.
No. Job portals are one sourcing channel, not our recruitment strategy. We combine portal sourcing with database searches, direct sourcing, referrals, professional networks, social platforms and targeted candidate outreach. The sourcing mix depends on the role, seniority, location and availability of relevant talent.
For difficult mandates, we widen the search beyond active applicants and identify professionals working in comparable roles and organizations. We assess adjacent talent where appropriate, map relevant markets and use targeted outreach to reach passive candidates. The objective is to identify the right talent pool first and then engage suitable professionals rather than simply increasing the number of CVs received.
Yes. Many experienced BFSI professionals are passive candidates and may not be applying to jobs publicly. Where a mandate requires such talent, we use direct outreach and professional networks to engage relevant candidates. We focus the conversation on the actual opportunity, including role scope, organization, career prospects, location and compensation.
We can support hiring across multiple locations by defining location-wise candidate requirements, prioritizing markets with strong talent availability and running coordinated sourcing and screening. For larger assignments, the approach can be structured around hiring volumes, timelines and location-specific requirements.
Yes. For urgent or bulk requirements, we can create a dedicated sourcing plan based on the number of positions, locations, timelines and candidate profile. The approach can include parallel sourcing channels, focused candidate mapping and coordinated screening.
Joining is treated as part of the recruitment process, not as the end of it. We discuss expectations before selection, clarify the opportunity and compensation, understand competing offers or counteroffer possibilities, and maintain communication during the notice period. Regular engagement helps identify concerns early.
We believe clients should have visibility into assignment progress rather than receiving profiles without context. Updates can cover sourcing progress, candidate availability, profiles under screening, interviews, feedback, selections and joining status. The reporting cadence can be aligned with the client's requirement.
Yes, depending on the requirement and commercial arrangement. For mandates where a client needs focused recruitment attention, we can structure the engagement around defined roles, locations, timelines and hiring objectives. This can be particularly useful for recurring, confidential, niche or high-volume hiring.
Successful recruitment should not be measured only by the number of CVs submitted. We look at profile relevance, interview conversions, selection ratios, offer acceptance, joining outcomes and, where applicable, retention or replacement performance. The objective is to fill the right position with the right person.

For Candidates
Answers to common questions from professionals exploring opportunities with us.
We work on opportunities across Banking, NBFCs, Insurance, Broking, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Fintech and related financial services. Depending on current mandates, roles can range from frontline sales and relationship management to branch, credit, operations, wealth and mid-to-senior management positions.
We consider more than your designation. We look at your experience, industry and product exposure, current role, location, career movement, compensation, notice period and the nature of the opportunity. We also discuss your career expectations where relevant, so that the role is not presented simply because your CV contains matching keywords.
Yes. We believe candidates should understand the opportunity before moving forward. Our team will share relevant details available to us about the role, organization, location, compensation structure and hiring process, and discuss your interest and suitability before proceeding.
We do not believe in indiscriminate profile circulation. Your profile is considered for relevant opportunities based on your experience and the requirements of the hiring organization. We aim to ensure that a profile is shared for a genuine opportunity rather than simply increasing submissions.
No. Candidates are not charged recruitment fees for opportunities handled by Halfpace HR.
Our recruitment team will explain the next stage, which may include an interview, assessment or discussion with the hiring organization. We coordinate the process, share relevant information and help maintain communication between you and the client throughout the recruitment journey.
Yes. You can submit your resume to our talent network. Not every requirement is publicly advertised, and suitable opportunities may arise later based on client mandates. Keeping your profile in our database allows us to consider you when a relevant requirement becomes available.
Please tell our recruitment team before we proceed. Transparency is important because submitting the same candidate through multiple channels can create confusion or duplication during the hiring process. We will assess the situation and advise you on the appropriate next step.
Yes. Wherever information is available, our team can explain the key responsibilities, expected profile, organization, location, compensation and interview process. We encourage candidates to ask questions before an interview so that they can make an informed decision and prepare appropriately.
Our involvement can continue through the joining stage. We stay connected with the candidate and client to help coordinate joining formalities, address relevant communication gaps and keep track of the joining timeline.
